Tickets are $30 for general, $20 for students with ID. The event is free for scholarship recipients.

We welcome donations and sponsorships to help us cover the cost of those in need of financial support. Donate here.
Through the San Diego Mesa College Foundation, Mesa College is able to offer over $150,000 in the form of hundreds of scholarships each year to students at one of our most inspiriting signature events, the Scholarship Awards Ceremony, held each year in April.
This event brings together over 350 people, including students, donors, corporate partners, community leaders, educators, public officials, students, and their families to celebrate the success of our students.
Supporting Student Success
This event truly captures the essence of the missions of both Mesa College and the Foundation. It is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on Mesa College students who are working hard and making tough sacrifices to get an education. Even more, our Scholarship Awards Ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate what education means—the chance to move up, to achieve a dream, to create a brighter future.
Leaders from a variety of sectors come together out of a shared interest in ensuring the next generation of college students have support to succeed. Numerous individuals, groups and Mesa College partners generously support this event by offering scholarships that range in value from $250 – $5,000 and are available to all Mesa students. Other individuals, corporations and partners provide sponsorship and underwriting which helps cover the cost of the event, including the opportunity for our scholarships recipients to attend the event for free.
