ABOUT PROFESSIONAL LEARNING @ the LOFT
The LOFT at San Diego Mesa College is a space, a team, and a philosophy: Learning Opportunities for Transformation. Since 2016, the LOFT has been the hub for professional learning at Mesa.
Our motto, “Never Stop Learning,” reminds us that we are all students, always growing in our work. The LOFT offers workshops, programs, and resources to support professional learning across roles. At the same time, we celebrate and support the professional learning happening across campus through different departments, grant programs, and schools.
The LOFT Team supports all Mesa employees including faculty, classified professionals, and administrators. Whether you’re looking for help navigating Flex, offering a Flex workshop, getting connected to Classified professionals, or exploring new teaching strategies, the LOFT is here to help you reflect, connect, and transform your practice.
MISSION
The Learning Opportunities for Transformation (LOFT) supports the mission of San Diego Mesa College through the coordination of a variety
of professional learning opportunities for all faculty, staff, and administrators
to experience and enjoy in their roles as lifelong learners and educators.
