CAHIIM seal of accreditationThe Health Information Technology program accreditor of San Diego Mesa College is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for the Associates degree in Health Information Technology has been reaffirmed through 2030.   • Graduation rate: 77%
  • Employment rate: 92%
  • RHIT pass rate: 82%

Graduates of the program are eligible to write the national accreditation examination of the American Health Information Technology Association, and upon passing the RHIT exam, become designated as an RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician).
