CalworkS Program Counseling Services

Mesa College CalWORKs counselors and staff are available to meet with you in a variety of ways to assist in helping you achieve your academic goals. We are committed to providing a positive college experience for you via in-person, Zoom, or by phone. Whether you're pursuing a certificate of achievement, Associates degree, transfer from Mesa to a university, or personal counseling/development, we are here to support you!

The following counseling services are available:

New and current CalWORKs students seeking assistance with any of the following services should make an appointment to meet with a CalWORKs counselor. Please note: For Zoom/Video counseling appointments, it is highly recommended to use a laptop/computer or smart device. 

Services Include:
- Academic, career, personal counseling
- Individual Training Plan (ITP)
- Mesa CalWORKs Program Orientation and Onboarding 
- Follow-Up 
- Advocacy as needed

- Student Legal Name (Last name, first name)
- Student 10-digit ID number
- County CalWORKs case number
- Purpose of appointment (ex: ITP, Book/Material Request Form, Ed Plan, etc.)
- Best phone number and email to reach you
- Three options of preferred appointment days and time
