If you did not receive an email notification, while we applaud your efforts and support your educational goals, we regretfully do not have enough resources to award every student and are not able to provide you a scholarship this year. There were a large number of applications this cycle and it was very difficult to choose between our applicants.Thank you once again for applying.

Architecture Program Design Scholarship

The Architecture Program Design Scholarship was established to recognize excellence in architectural design and provide financial assistance to a deserving student who is pursuing a four-year, five-year or graduate degree in Architecture.

Armstrong Family Scholarship

The Armstrong Family Scholarship is intended to support highly motivated students who value intellectual challenges and have a passion for learning and the exploration of ideas. Students may demonstrate these qualities through their scholarship application itself; or by participation in student support programs, such as EOPS and Special Programs, or academic support programs. The fund is named in honor and memory of John Wilhelm Armstrong and is established by his wife, Elizabeth Armstrong, and children, Allan and Sarah.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, John spent his childhood in Norway during WW II and from his earliest days loved learning.  Inspired and encouraged by teachers and friends, John returned to the US to complete his BSEE degree at the University of Wisconsin. He became a radar engineer working in various capacities in the US, Italy, Greenland and England. Later he became a scientific and technical translator, combining his knowledge of several languages with his engineering and science expertise. John had a passion for learning and books and believed in the value of education. Having experienced childhood in an occupied country with scarce food and resources, John was acutely aware that education is the one thing that cannot be taken away. This scholarship is to honor John's lifelong love of learning.

Picky Eats Robotics Scholarship

The Picky Eats Robotics Scholarship is to recognize college students that had competed in First Inspires (FLL, FTC, FRC) Programs at the elementary/middle/high schools or have gone back to mentor kids for robotics.  It's important to continue supporting college students in the field of STEM, but to also inspire them to become mentors within their community.

William Cyran Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was created in the memory of William T. Cyran, who helped to the establish the Social Sciences Department at Mesa College in 1965. He taught philosophy and logic at Mesa until his retirement in 1979.
