3-Ideas
3-IDeas is a great option for folks with busy schedules, unable to meet synchronously, but still wanting feedback from MOST. You will receive three ideas to enhance your course design, whether you teach online or in person, with the option to implement them for Flex credit.

more Opportunities to connect w/ MOST
Here are a few additional professional learning spaces and places where we might get to connect with you:
- Convocation: Every Convocation, MOST hosts a Convocation Breakout Session where we offer Canvas course prep support just in time for the start of the semester. Check your email for details about Convocation and Convocation Breakout Sessions each semester.
- Catalyst: Each Spring Flex week, MOST presents a series of workshops as part of our Catalyst Teaching conference. Catalyst is a great place to get ideas and inspiration to infuse into your spring courses.
- New Faculty Institute: We love welcoming our new faculty in the New Faculty Institute's "We Are Mesa" Days at the start of each semester.
- ProMesa: ProMesa is our New Part-Time Faculty Orientation offered Hyflex, Face-to-Face, and asynchronously in Canvas. MOST participates in this orientation to support and welcome our new part-time faculty members. ProMesa Self-Enroll link. (SDCCD Canvas login required.)
- 🌳Join the Teaching Tree!🌳 - The Teaching Tree is a Canvas course shell for Mesa faculty and employees with resources and an active Pronto discussion to reachout to with your questions. Enroll in the Teaching Tree today. (SDCCD Canvas login required.)
- MOST's Toast to Teaching - Our annual event to celebrate faculty, teaching, and continuous learning. (2024 MOST Toast📷, 2025 MOST Toast📷)
Toolkit
Find resources for course design, course facilitation, and course assessment. Our MOST Toolkit is a collection of samples from Mesa colleagues to support your teaching across modalities. Let us know if you have something to share. Access our MOST Toolkit.
Cohorts
Our online cohorts are a great way to engage in professional learning and get compensated for your time. Faculty participate as students in an asynchronous online cohort with other Mesa faculty. MOST Cohorts are currently on hold, but this Spring 2025 California Competes blog post "How San Diego Mesa College Transforms Online Teaching Through Faculty Development" spotlighted this important work, and we hope to be able to continue it in the future.
