Pride Scholars Program
What is the Pride Scholars Program?
The Pride Scholars Program supports LGBTQIA+ students through academic guidance, community-building opportunities, case management, housing, meal, and basic needs assistance.
Program Services Include:
- Academic, Career, and Personal Counseling
- Case Management
- Bookstore Vouchers
- Meal and Transportation Assistance
- Scholarship Opportunities
Who is eligible?
- Identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community
- Be enrolled in at least 6 units (or a unit minimum from DSPS) at Mesa College
- Mesa College must be your school of record
How to Apply:

Gender Affirming Gear and Closet
The Gender Affirming Gear is a free resource for students to obtain necessary gender affirming items, such as:
- Packers
- Chest Binders
- Tucking Tape
- and much more!
The Gender Affirming Closet is a free donation-run resource for students to take advantage of! The Pride Center is currently accepting donations of the following:
- Casual, everyday wear
- Sweaters/Jackets
- Jewelry and other accessories (belts, hats, purses)
- and much more!

Support our LGBTQIA+ Community
San Diego Mesa College is proud to announce the establishment of the LGBTQ+ Inclusivity and Equity Fund. Donations go towards student scholarships, programs, inclusiveness, equity, and understanding for students idenifying as LGBTQIA+.
The program promotes acceptance, belong, safety, compassion, positive self-efficacy, and confidence designed to help students succeed socially and academically.
